[custom_html] The 3204E Bissell Filter needs to be kept cleaned in order to keep your vacuum functioning at its full capacity. The filter is washable if warm water and a mild detergent is used. It's still recommended to replace it every 6 months to obtain maximum performance from your cleaner. In order to replace the filter, it's important to line up the curved tabs that are located on the filter frame with the curved notches on the filter. Push together and ensure they are securely fastened. In order to prevent dust from escaping, check to be sure the filter is fully pressed against the unit. If your filter becomes torn, never continue to use it. The filter will need to be replaced.
